Hot Nite In The City 2010

Saturday August 07 2010 was the 16th year for the Kamloops “Hot Nite In The City” car show where they shut down about 12 blocks of downtown for the show. This is the third year that they are including trucks, so we took the Peterbilt and 8 axle lowbed. Saturday morning we met at the Flying J, truckstop just East of Kamloops for a 5:30am breakfast, and at 6:30 the police showed up for the escort into town for set up. That was cool, 30 or so trucks with police escort and told don`t stop for lights or anything!

The rain tried to scare people away alittle bit but the sun came out during the awards at 3:00pm. I received the last and biggest trophy for “Best In Show” for the trucks, it made it all worth while going up.

Big Rig Show 2009

Well, another Big Rig show is over and I received 1st place for Best Paint and 1st place for Best Tractor trailer Combo for my new truck. It took a while to get everything finished and painted, but it happened and we are proud.

Now it`s back to work, it`s been a while but it time to get back into the groove of things.

Welcome to the web site for “ Daryl Wear Contracting ltd.”

Hi, I`m Daryl and I lowbed out of the Chilliwack area. We haul throughout B.C. and Alberta, but specialize in the lower mainland and southern part of the province of British Columbia. I moved to Chilliwack during the summer of 2006 and have started to serve some satisfied local customers, but would like to offer my services to your company.

As of February 2012, we have two Pacesetter 65 ton hydraulic 10′ wide tridems and a 9′ wide mechanical tandem. All trailers can run on their own or with a jeep and booster from 5 axles up to 8 axles at this time. Also on our fleet is a 53′ tridem step and a 45′ tandem hiboy.

Presently we are working with two Longhood Peterbilts with sleepers, and a day-cab W900.

I do work with other lowbed company`s, so if I can`t help you I will line you up with another reliable lowbed company that can help complete your needs.

We take pride in service to make sure your machine is on the job and on time with no problems!
